Mark Twain Quotes About Cigars
According to Cigar Aficionado, Mark Twain was number five on the list of The Top 100 Cigar Smokers Twentieth Century. He reportedly smoked as many as 40 cigars a day. Even though he was an avid cigar smoker, he did not have the best taste in cigars and liked “Anything except a Havana”.
Here are some of Mark Twain’s quotes about cigars:
“If smoking is not allowed in heaven, I shall not go.”
“I never smoke to excess – that is, I smoke in moderation, only one cigar at a time.”
“I make it a rule to never smoke while I’m sleeping.”
…and one other quote, just for fun…
“Nothing so needs reforming as other people’s habits.”
