Local Austin Gem To Open Second Location On Labor Day

Bobalu Cigar Co. is opening a second store in North Austin

Austin, TX — September, 2014

Bobalu Cigar Co. the nationally known and highly regarded custom cigar manufacturer and retail store is getting ready to open it’s long awaited second store on Labor Day.

Bobalu has been  an Austin staple and tourist favorite for more than 17 years because of it’s Sixth Street location.

“Sixth Street is an awesome location and gets me a lot of attention from visitors and tourists,” say owner Jeff Lipton. “However, it’s not always the easiest place to get to for my local customers. That’s why I’m so excited to open our new store in such a great location!”

The new store is located at 8501 Burnet Rd in Austin, between Highway 183 and Anderson Lane. Of course, the new store will also feature Bobalu’s custom cigar rollers, many of them being Cuban immigrants that actually honed their craft working for famous Cuban Cigar manufacturers.

“The expansion will also open up more retail space and seating at Bobalu’s original Sixth Street location”, said Lipton.
