How To Use A Guillotine Cigar Cutter
According to Cigar World, a bad cut can ruin a good cigar. That said, even though cutting a cigar isn’t difficult, it is important.
There are three steps involved when using a guillotine cigar cutter:
1. Find the shoulder of the cigar and cut right above it, about 1/16th of an inch. (The shoulder is where the curved end starts to straighten out)
2. Next bring the blade or blades down to touch the cigar. This will hold the cigar in place when you make the cut.
3. Cut quickly and decisively to avoid tearing the wrapper.
